Dr Francesca R. Grati
graduated in Biology at University of Milan. Thereafter, she graduated in Medical Genetics and obtained the Ph.D. in Human Pathology and Heredity at the University of Pavia. She was researcher at the University of Milan and actually she is R&D Director of TOMA Advanced Biomedical Assays, contract professor at the school of Medical Genetics at University of Milan and board member of the International Society for Prenatal Diagnosis and therapy (ISPD). Dr. Grati’s interests are prenatal diagnosis and fetal genetics. Her research is mainly focused on the understanding of the epidemiology of chromosome abnormalities in prenatal population, feto-placental mosaicisms and their impact on preimplantation, prenatal diagnosis and non invasive prenatal testings. She is also committed to the evaluation of new technologies in clinical settings, their setup and validation.
