Ludovico Muzii received his MD degree cum laude in 1988 and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1992. He achieved the PhD Degree in Obstetircal and Gynecologicel Sciences in 1997.
He is currently Full Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Sapienza University of Rome, Italy.
He is Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at Sapienza University. He is Director of the Reproductive Medicine Unit and of the Gynecological Surgery and Oncology Unit at the Policlinico Umberto I in Rome.
His main fields of interests are endometriosis, reproductive medicine, assisted reproductive techniques, endoscopy, and gynecological oncology. He is Editor and Reviewer in many peer review journals. He was awarded with several scientific prizes, among which the Golden Hysteroscope Award, AAGL 2011, the Carlo Romanini Award for Best Endometrisosis Paper, AAGL 2005, and the Kurt Semm Award for Excellence in Pelviscopy, AAGL 2003.
He is author of more than 315 papers published in peer-reviewed journals, with a H-index of 44 (source: Scopus).
