Elizabeth Sullivan MBBS MPH MMed MD FAFPHM
is Professor of Public Health and Deputy Head of the Faculty of Health and Medicine at the University of Newcastle, Australia. She also holds an appointment as a Distinguished Professor Public Health at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia. Her previous appointments include Professor Perinatal and Reproductive Health and Director, Australian Institute of Health and Welfare National Perinatal Statistics and Epidemiology Unit at the University of New South Wales, Australia. Dr Sullivan is a public health physician and perinatal epidemiologist whose population health research program focuses on vulnerable reproductive populations with her main research interests’ encompassing infertility, chronic disease in pregnancy, and serious maternal morbidity and mortality. She has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed publications and Australian Institute of Health and Welfare and WHO reports. She is a former committee member of the International Committee for Monitoring Assisted Reproductive Technology and former council member of the National Health and Medical Research Council in Australia.
