Dr Emmeline Lee
Emmeline graduated from the University of Western Australia with an MBBS, who then went on to obtain a Diploma in Obstetrics from RANZCOG before specialising in Radiology in WA. She then completed fellowships in Women’s Imaging and in Breast Imaging. She currently a partner in a specialist O&G Imaging practice, Western Ultrasound for Women, as well as in the public sector at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and BreastScreenWA.
Emmeline is the Co-Lead examiner in O&G Imaging for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists, and is a keen teacher of Radiology registrars and sonographers in Western Australia.
Emmeline is the current Chair of the Obstetric and Gynaecological Special Interest Group of the RANZCR.
Emmeline is the Expert Advisor for Obstetric Imaging in the popular website, Radiopaedia, which is the premier reference website for Imaging professionals around the world (http://radiopaedia.org).
She was the recipient of the Professor Turab Chakera Award for Radiology Teaching in 2014.
Emmeline received the Australasian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine’s Sonologist of the year award in 2019.
As part of her commitment to education, Emmeline is Co-Lead in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for Radiology Across Borders, and has done multiple trips supporting Sonographers, Radiologists, Registrars and Medical Students in developing nations.
Emmeline also has a keen research interest, particularly in the field of Subfertility.
