Dr. med. Max Hackelöer studied human medicine in Budapest and Hamburg. Since 2018 he is training to become a specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Since 2019 he is part of the Preeclampsia Research Group, led by Prof. Verlohren, researching new forms of care for high-risk pregnant women. Together they are taking part in the Digital Health Accelerator Program (DHA), supervised by the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH). In 2021 he finished his doctoral thesis which assessed the fetal and maternal pregnancy outcome after intrauterine CMV transmission prophylaxis with hyperimmunglobulins (HIG).
