Dr. Dimitris Loutradis is Professor of Obstetrics – Gynecology, University of Athens and from September 1st, 2013 -September 1st 2020 was Chairman of the 1st Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Athens University at “Alexandra” Hospital. He graduated from the Medical School of Athens University. He completed his doctoral thesis at the Medical School of Athens University. For two years he was fellow in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA. Since 1987 he has been Director of the Assisted Reproduction Medicine at the 1st Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Athens University at “Alexandra” Hospital. In 1996 he was awarded the prize of the Academy of Athens. Since 2006, he holds the position of Professor of Medicine, University of Athens. He was elected member of the Executive Committee of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) for the years 2005-2009. He is a member of the Hellenic Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology and since 2016 -2021 he was President elected of HSOG. He was Executive Member from 2022 -2024 in EUROPEAN BOARD & COLLEGE OF OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY

Konstantinos Dafopoulos
Dr. Konstantinos Dafopoulos is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, School of Health Sciences, University of Thessaly in Larissa, Greece. Prof. Dafopoulos studied medicine in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Faculty of Medicine, Athens in Greece. His residency was in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical School of the Democritus University of Thrace in Greece. He was trained in the subspecialty of Reproductive Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University Schleswig-Holstein, Campus Lübeck in Germany.
He has published 118 papers in international peer reviewed journals and 22 chapters in books of Reproductive Medicine. As director of the Menopause & PMS Centre at Queen Charlotte’s Hospital & Imperial College London, Nick leads a busy clinical and research team which publishes widely, presents at scientific meetings and trains health professionals at all levels. Yariv Yogev
Prof. Yariv Yogev graduated medical school in The Technion University, Haifa, Israel and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Helen Schneider Hospital, Rabin Medical Center. He completed his clinical and research fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Columbia University and St. Lukes-Roosvelt Hospital in New York. Currently, he is full professor at Tel Aviv University and the Chairman of Lis Hospital for Women in Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center which is a tertiary University affiliated Hospital with approximately 12,000 deliveries a year. Prof. Yogev is the past President of the Israel Society for Maternal and Fetal Medicine, the past moderator of the diabetes in pregnancy program in the American Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine (SMFM) and board member in the Israel residency board exams. He contributed more than 240 peer-reviewed articles, editor of 2 books and wrote many chapters in books, and his main in interest in research are pregnancy complication, especially diabetes and preterm labor.

Asma Khalil
Asma Khalil is a Professor of Obstetrics and Maternal Fetal Medicine at St George’s Hospital, University of London. She is the Obstetric Lead of the National Maternity and Perinatal Audit (NMPA). She gained her MD(Res) at the University of London in 2008. She also has a Masters degree in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and an MRC scholarship. She is a subspecialist in Maternal and Fetal Medicine. Since 2008, she has maintained busy clinical (Obstetrics, Fetomaternal Medicine), research and teaching roles. Asma is the Lead for the Twin and Multiple Pregnancy service at St George’s Hospital. She also leads the Reproductive Health Research Group at St George’s Hospital.She has published more than 350 peer reviewed papers, and many published review articles and chapters. She was awarded many research prizes, both at national and international meetings. Her research interests include twin pregnancy, fetal growth restriction, hypertensive disorders in pregnancy and infections in pregnancy.She is passionate about innovation. She is the inventor of the HAMPTON, which is an award-winning digital innovation which enables pregnant women to monitor their blood pressure safely at home. She is a National Innovation Accelerator (NIA) Fellow.She is committed to the implementation of clinical guidelines in practice and believes that they could reduce inequalities in care across the NHS. She had a three year Fellowship with NICE and has been a member of the NICE Clinical Standards and Expert Advisor to the NICE Centre for Clinical guidelines.
She is an Editor for the Ultrasound on obstetrics and Gynecology Journal. She is an International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) Trustee and is an Ambassador to North Africa and the Middle East. Themistoklis I Dagklis
Dr Themistoklis Dagklis is currently serving as an Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine, in the 3rd University Clinic of Obstetrics and Gynecology, “Ippokrateio” Hospital, Thessaloniki, Greece. He has graduated with honors from the Medical School of Aristotle University, Thessaloniki, Greece (2000). He completed his PhD in Physiology and Pharmacology, in the same Medical School, entitled: “Leptin’s effect on gonadotropin release and the gonads – stereotactic study in rats’’ (Degree: Excellent, 2006). He specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology, in the 4th University Clinic of Obstetrics and Gynecology, “Ippokrateio” Hospital, Thessaloniki, Greece (5/2007-7/2011). He holds two MSc titles, one in “Management of Health Units”, by the Open University of Greece (2011) and one in “Reproduction and Development”, by the University of Bristol, UK (2014). Bart CJM Fauser
Bart CJM Fauser, MD, PhD, FRCOG, is a Professor Em. of Reproductive Medicine, Gynecologist, former Head of the Department for Reproductive Medicine and Gynecology and former Chair of the Division of Woman & Baby at the University of Utrecht and the University Medical Center Utrecht, The Netherlands.
He is a Fellow ad Eundum of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RCOG), Honorary member of European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), scientific director of the International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS), international member of the US National Academy of Medicine (NAM), member of the Academia Europea, Night in the order of the Netherlands Lion, past member of the board of the Dutch Medical Research Counsel (ZonMW), and past Editor-in-Chief of Reproductive Biomedicine Online (RBMO), and Human Reproduction Update.
He previously held posts as a Fulbright scholar at the University of California, San Diego; visiting professorships at Stanford University School of Medicine (California, USA), Free University of Brussels (Belgium), University of Siena (Italy), University of Southampton (UK), and the University of Adelaide (Australia). He is a past chair of the World Health Organization (WHO) steering committee for infertility guidelines.
His major research interests include the pathophysiology of human ovarian function (especially PCOS, and POI), ovarian stimulation, IVF and women’s health (including contraception, menopause and healthy aging). Professor Fauser published over 500 peer-review articles, and is one of the most cited (Hirsch factor > 130; SCOPUS) authors in reproductive medicine worldwide. He has acted as the editor of multiple textbooks, lectured all around the world and his work has been widely covered in the national and international news media.

Anja Pinborg
Professor Anja Pinborg is an MD, specialist in obstetrics/gynecology and expert in clinical reproductive medicine and was appointed professor at University of Copenhagen in 2013. Since 2018 she has been professor and medical director at the Fertility Clinc at Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen University Hospital. She has published more than 350 original papers and authored three books and ten book-chapters and has an H-index of 74. She is past member of ESHRE EXCO (2017-2021) and of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (2015-2021) and former president for Nordic Fertility Society (2011-2015). She is current deputy editor of Human Reproduction Open as is the former AE of Human Reproduction Update and RBMOnline. Her main research focus areas are quality and safety in ART including maternal and child health.

Rita Vassena
Dr. Vassena is the co-founder and director of Fecundis, a company dedicated to the development of innovative treatments for infertility. She is also the medical director for fertility of CooperSurgical. Dr.Vassena has more than 20 years of experience in the field of reproduction with more than 130 publications in peer reviewed international journals and book chapters. Dr.Vassena was Co-director of the international Master in Human Assisted Reproductive Technology from the University Pompeu Fabra. Dr.Vassena is also a former member of the Executive Committee of ESHRE (European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology), the largest international scientific society dedicated to human reproduction and embryology. Areas of Special Interest and Accomplishments:My special areas of interest in Gynecology and Obstetrics include infertility and high- risk pregnancy. My work in infertility led the first baby born in France as a result of in vitro fertilization in 1982, after embryo freezing in 1986, after PGD in 2000, after oocyte cryoperservation 2010.
My other area of interest has been biomedical ethics. My work in this realm led to many invitations to debate the moral issues created by the use of the techniques of artificial procreation. I have had an active participation in the preparation on the law on bioethics.
I have actively worked with the Medecins du Monde and Medecins sans Frontieres.

Stratis Kolibianakis
Stratis Kolibianakis holds the position of Professor in Obstetrics-Gynaecology and Assisted Reproduction, serves as Head of the Unit for Human Reproduction, and functions as Director of the Master in Human Reproduction at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
Professor Kolibianakis has authored several book chapters and published 209 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals (PUBMED, 9/2025). His research has garnered 11501 citations (SCOPUS, 9/2025), and he has achieved a Hirsch Index of 61 (SCOPUS, 9/2025). Professor Kolibianakis has delivered in excess of 200 lectures at international conferences and has served on the editorial boards of Human Reproduction (2005-2009), BJOG (2017-2020), RBMOnline (2009-present), Fertility-Sterility (2011-present) and F&S Science (2020-present).
He has fulfilled the role of coordinator for the Special Interest Group Reproductive Endocrinology (SIG RE) of the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) (2013-2015) and has acted as Chair of the Special Interest Groups Committee of ESHRE (2017-2019). Currently, he serves as an assessor for the ESHRE accreditation of subspecialist training programmes in Reproductive Medicine.

Athanasios Protopapas
Athanasios Protopapas is a Professor of Obstetrics-Gynecology & Endoscopic Surgery, working at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. He is also the Director of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Unit of the 1st University Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, which is the largest Academic Department of its kind in Greece, and a recognized training Center in Obstetrics and Gynecology by EBCOG.
Professor Athanasios Protopapas has been appointed as the Director of the MIS Unit since 2014. He has been elected as a Full Professor of Obstetrics-Gynecology-Endoscopic Surgery of the University of Athens, in 2019. He has received his training in Gynecological Endoscopy in Greece, United Kingdom and France, and holds the European University Diploma of Gynecological Endoscopy, awarded to him by the University of Auvergne, France, in 2008.
In 2019 Prof. Protopapas was elected President of the Hellenic Society of Gynecological Endoscopy (HSGE) – an affiliated Society to both the European Society for Gynecological Endoscopy (ESGE), and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and has been member of its Executive Board uninterruptedly from 2009 – 2022. During all these years, he has participated in the organization of numerous education activities of the Society including Hands-on courses, Seminars, and Congresses. In October 2022, he was elected Member of the Advisory Board of ESGE, for a 4-years’ service.
Professor Protopapas has been the author of a large number of scientific publications in peer reviewed journals, and has written several chapters in books related to Obstetrics, Gynecology and Endoscopic Surgery.

Prof Antonis Makrigiannakis MD, PhD,HSOG
Professor A. Makrigiannakis graduated from the Medical School of the Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed his PhD in Reproductive Endocrinology and Pharmacology at the Medical School of the University of Crete. He received his subspecialization in Human Reproduction at the University of Pennsylvania, Division of Human Reproduction, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Philadelphia, USA and at the Department of Reproductive Surgery & Medicine, Imperial College School of Medicine, Hammersmith Hospital, London, United Kingdom. Today he is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the School of Medicine of the University of Crete, Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the University General Hospital of Heraklion .
His research yielded a large volume of publications in high-impact journals. His wide recognition has resulted in him being a reviewer in more than 15 scientific journals and receiving more than 10 national and international awards. In addition, he has been an invited speaker at more than 300 international conferences. He holds administrative positions in several scientific societies, including ESHRE, MSRM, ISIVF, EBCOG. He is currently the Coordinator of ESHRE Certification Committee.
