Martin Blomberg Jensen achieved his MD from University of Copenhagen in 2006 and completed his internship in 2008. In 2012 he became an EAA certified Andrologist. From 2008 to 2014 he initiated and pursued translational research uncovering the role of vitamin D and calcium signaling for male reproductive function at Rigshospitalet Denmark. Afterwards he established group of skeletal, mineral and gonadal endocrinology working on vitamin D regulated genes and the novel crosslink between the skeleton, gonads, pituitary and kidney. From the start of 2015 he moved his group to work with prof. Beate Lanske and Roland Baron at Harvard, Boston, US and returned in 2018 to Denmark. In 2023 he became head of research at department of Endocrinology Copenhagen University Hospital, Herlev-Gentofte. Uncovering endocrine crosstalk using a translational approach from the lab to the clinic.
