Prof. Dr. Mina Popovic is Global Chief Scientific Officer at Juno Genetics and Professor at the Department of Reproductive Medicine, Ghent University Hospital, based in Barcelona, Spain. A clinical embryologist by training, her work spans early human embryo development, chromosomal instability, implantation, and preimplantation genetic testing. She serves on the IVIRMA Scientific Advisory Board and the ESHRE Ethics Committee, and was previously Scientific Director of the Eugin Group. Across her career she has led international research initiatives, established large-scale academic-industry collaborations, authored numerous high-impact publications and is a frequent speaker at international meetings in reproductive medicine. She studied Genetics and Molecular Biology at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, worked as a Clinical Embryologist and Regional Laboratory Program Manager at Genea (formerly Sydney IVF), and completed her PhD at Ghent University on chromosomal instability in early human development.
