Dr. Amir Aviram is a graduate of the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel-Aviv University, Tel-Aviv, Israel. He completed his post-graduate training in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology at the Helen Schneider Hospital for Women, Rabin Medical Center at the Lis Maternity and Women’s Hospital, The Tel-Aviv Sourasky Medical Centre, Israel. He completed his Maternal-Fetal Medicine sub-specialty training in 2020 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Mount Sinai Hospital, University of Toronto, Toronto, ON. Today, Dr. Aviram is the head of the placental disorders clinic at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, ON, and hold an academic rank of an Associated Professor at the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, Toronto, ON. He has authored and co-authored more than 125 manuscripts in the peer reviewed journals, as well as numerous reviews and book chapters, and he also serves as the Trustworthy Editor for the AJOG MFM journal.
His research interests include placental disorders and multifetal gestations.
