
Prof.
Elene Asanidze, MD, PhD, is a Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Tbilisi Medical Academy and President of the Georgian Association of Reproductive and Sexual Health.
She is Head of the Women’s Health Center at the Georgian-American Center for Reproductive Medicine “Reproart” and a practicing obstetrician-gynecologist and pediatric and adolescent gynecologist, with expertise in minimally invasive surgery. Her academic and clinical interests focus on reproductive endocrinology, infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, polycystic ovary syndrome, differences of sex development, contraception, and pediatric and adolescent gynecology.
Prof. Asanidze has authored numerous scientific publications in the fields of reproductive medicine and sexual health. She is actively engaged in clinical research, medical education, curriculum development, and the mentorship of medical students and early-career healthcare professionals. Through her academic, clinical, and leadership roles, she is committed to advancing evidence-based clinical practice, professional education, and interdisciplinary collaboration in women’s reproductive and sexual health.
