
Fabrizzio Horta
With vast experience in the field of reproductive medicine, Dr Fabrizzio Horta is a medical reproductive scientist who combines clinical and academic expertise with innovation and entrepreneurship in the IVF field. He holds a PhD in translational research in assisted reproductive technologies from Monash University, where he also completed his master of clinical embryology. Additionally, he has been extensively trained in human reproduction and reproductive biology, including a fellowship in molecular and clinical andrology as well as studies in reproductive genetics and biomedical innovation and entrepreneurship.
He currently conducts research on infertility, biomarkers and non-invasive methods of gamete and embryo quality, artificial intelligence, reproductive genetics, and technology innovation in assisted reproductive technologies at the Fertility & Research Centre, UNSW and lectures for the master of reproductive medicine and medicine at UNSW. He is Scientific Supervisor of Research & Development at City Fertility and he also serves as a scientific advisor for 23Strands, a company that offers personalized solutions for reproductive health based on genomic data.
Dr Horta is passionate about advancing the field of reproductive medicine and improving the outcomes and experiences of patients and clinicians. His vision is to create a world where infertility is no longer a barrier to start a family.
