Michael Sinosich
Michael has focussed his research and service to improve management of womens’ reproductive health and delivery of prenatal healthcare. His research on placental physiology and pregnancy-associated plasma protein-A (PAPP-A) laid the foundations for prenatal serum screening in early pregnancy. As Clinical Associate Professor (University of Sydney, 1998), he has taught undergraduate and supervised post-graduate students and has recently been made a Fellow of the Faculty of Science (FFSc) RCPA (2018). He currently holds position of Scientific Director and Manager of Prenatal Testing, DHM Pathology, Sonic Healthcare, where he continues with his commitment to improving prenatal healthcare and outcomes for mothers and their babies.
