Prof. Sezcan Mumusoglu , MD is an Associate Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey. He completed both his residency and clinical fellowship in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the same university. He took the “Introduction to Clinical Research Training (ICRT)” program at Harvard Medical School and completed the program in May 2016. He studied with Professor Aaron Hsueh at the Stanford University School of Medicine as a Visiting Scholar in between 2018 – 2019 and focused on pathophysiology and genetics of premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). He has been teaching phase 4 students, interns, and residents at Hacettepe University School of Medicine. Dr. Mumusoglu has produced more than 40 publications in peer reviewed journals. Since 2020 he has been serving as an Associated Editor for Human Reproduction and also a reviewer for 10 journals including Hum Reprod, Fertil Steril, and RBMonline. His research interests include reproductive endocrinology, ovarian reserve markers, all aspect of clinical IVF, PCOS, and POI.
