Dr Nappi’s major interests are in the field of psychoneuroendocrinology of female reproductive and post-reproductive life with a special focus on women’s sexual health. She has published around 400 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and international books with around 23000 citations (HF Google Scholar 83).
She is a well-known speaker on women’s health from adolescence to menopause. She has been very active in many international meetings and research projects in the field of contraception, menopause and female sexual dysfunction.
She is past president of the International Society for the Study of Women Sexual Health (ISSWSH). At present, she is permanent member of the advisory board of the International Society of Gynecological Endocrinology (ISGE) and of the International Academy of Human Reproduction (IAHR) and President Elect of the International Menopause Society (IMS).
