Priv.-Doz. Gülen Yerlikaya-Schatten, MD PhD is a consultant in fetal medicine at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Medical University of Vienna, Austria. Following medical graduation from Vienna she started her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Hospital Duisburg Essen (Germany) in 2011. Since January 2013 Dr Yerlikaya-Schatten is working at the Medical University of Vienna. Beside her medical degree Dr Yerlikaya-Schatten received a Doctor of Philosophy at the Medical University of Vienna.
In 2015 she completed a two-year fellowship in Fetal Medicine at Kings College Hospital in London. Since then, she is a member of the fetal medicine team. Her research interest are general fetal medicine and genetics. Another major area of interest is fetal and maternal cardiac assessment.
