Dr. Konstantinos Dafopoulos is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, School of Health Sciences, University of Thessaly in Larissa, Greece. Prof. Dafopoulos studied medicine in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Faculty of Medicine, Athens in Greece. His residency was in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical School of the Democritus University of Thrace in Greece. He was trained in the subspecialty of Reproductive Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University Schleswig-Holstein, Campus Lübeck in Germany.
He has published 118 papers in international peer reviewed journals and 22 chapters in books of Reproductive Medicine. He was invited speaker in more than 150 national and international congresses and received 4 awards for his research. He teaches in 13 national and international postgraduate courses. He is President of the Hellenic Society of Fertility Preservation, General Secretary of the Hellenic Society of Fertility and Sterility, and member of the Administrative Board of the Hellenic Society of Gynecological Endocrinology.
