Theodoros D. Theodoridis MD, DFFP, MSc (MHM), PhD
Theodoros D. Theodoridis is a Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in the 1st Department of OB-GYN, “Papageorgiou” General Hospital and currently serves as the Head of the Gynaecological Endoscopy Unit. His special interest is endoscopic (laparoscopic and robotic) surgery, reproductive surgery, endometriosis and education in endoscopic surgery. He has published over 100 papers in peer reviewed national and international scientific journals, 20 chapters in Greek medical books. 6 chapters in international medical books. He is a Editor/co-editor in 3 scientific books and has delivered more than 150 lectures in national and international congresses. He has organized many congresses, courses and workshops especially in the field of endoscopic surgery. He holds Master Degree in Health Management MSc(MHM), RCOG Diploma of Faculty of Family Plannning and Reproductive Health Care (DFFP), Le Diplôme d’Universite Europeen D’ENDOSCOPIE OPERATOIRE ΕΝ GYNECOLOGIE (University Auvergne, Clermont-Ferrand, France), Accreditation in Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound (Hellenic Ministry of Health) and Accreditation in Endoscopic surgery (ESGE-GESEA programme). He was appointed as a member of the ESGE Advisory Board (2018-2022), he is ESGE chief mentor and member in SIG ‘Innovations’, ‘Reproductive Surgery’ and ‘Education’ of ESGE. Professor Theodoridis is the current President of the Hellenic Society of Gynecological Endoscopy (2022-to date) and has served as board member and vice president of the Society. He is also founder and board member of Hellenic Society of Fertility Preservation, and he is an active member of numerus other international Scientific Societies.
