Elene Asanidze
Elene Asanidze, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University “Geomedi” in Tbilisi, Georgia, and serves as the President of the Georgian Association of Reproductive and Sexual Health. She is a practicing Obstetrician-Gynecologist and Pediatric Gynecologist, with expertise in endoscopic surgery at the Center for Reproductive Medicine “Universe.”
Dr. Asanidze is the author of numerous articles and research studies, with a focus on advancing knowledge in reproductive health. Her primary interests encompass endocrine disorders affecting female reproduction, infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), disorders of sexual development, menopausal transition, and hormone replacement therapy.
In addition to her clinical and academic work, Dr. Asanidze leads grants and scholarship initiatives, supporting doctoral and medical students in their academic and professional development. She is widely recognized for her dedication to advancing reproductive health through research, education, and mentorship.
