Ana Luísa Fialho Amaral de Areia completed her PhD in Doctoral Program in Health Sciences in 2015/07/24 from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra, master’s in medicine in 2009 from the University of Coimbra and Degree in Medicine in 1999 from the University of Coimbra. She is Principal Investigator at the University of Coimbra, Vice-President of the Portuguese Society of Obstetrics and Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Graduate Assistant at the Hospital and University Center of Coimbra EPE, Invited Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra, has the Sub-Specialty in Maternal-Fetal Medicine of the Order of Physicians and is a Researcher at the Association to Support the Center for Research in Genetic Environment and Oncobiology. She has published 37 articles in specialized journals, of which 27 in indexed journals, and of these she is first author of 16 articles. She has written 4 book chapters. Organized 8 events. Participated in 60 events. Supervised 2 doctoral theses. Supervised 27 master’s dissertations and co-supervised 2. Received 1 award. Participates and/or has participated as a Researcher in 3 funded projects, being Principal Investigator in 1 project.
