Jessica Ybanez-Morano, MD, MPH, FACOG, CPE
Dr. Jessica Ybanez-Morano practices in Wheeling, West Virginia. She joined the staff of the Virginia Gassaway Women’s Services as the Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery and the Director of Labor and Delivery. She is Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She specializes in reduced site gynecologic laparoscopic techniques and vaginal re-enhancement. She is specifically focused with single-site laparoscopic surgery for gynecology procedures. Currently, she serves as Secretary/Treasurer for SLS 2018 and will be incoming President for SLS in 2020.
Dr. Ybanez-Morano is doubly boarded with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Physician Executives (aka the American Association of Physician Leaders.) She maintains numerous academic positions. She received Professor faculty appointment with the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, West Liberty University and West Virginia University School of Medicine.
She graduated with a combined degree. She received her MD/MPH from West Virginia University and the Johns Hopkins University. She is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. She is a Certified Physician Executive and a Diplomate with the American College of Physician Executives. She serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons (JSLS.)
