Prof. Liran Hiersch received his MD from Tel Aviv University, Israel. He did a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rabin Medical Center and Lis Hospital for Women, both affiliated to Tel Aviv University, followed by a fellowship in Advanced Obstetrics and Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Toronto (Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, ON, Canada). He is the Director of the Department of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and the High-Risk Pregnancy outpatient clinics at Lis Hospital for Women and a Professor at Tel Aviv University. He has published more than 170 original manuscripts, reviews and chapters in books, focusing on the field of pregnancy-complications and maternal-fetal medicine.
