Prof. Liran Hiersch received his MD from Tel Aviv University, Israel. He did a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rabin Medical Center and Lis Hospital for Women, both affiliated to Tel Aviv University, followed by a fellowship in Advanced Obstetrics and Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Toronto (Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, ON, Canada). He is the head of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine inpatient unit and the High-Risk Pregnancy outpatient clinics at Lis Hospital for Women and an Associate Professor at Tel Aviv University. He has published more than 150 original manuscripts, reviews and chapters in books, focusing on the field of pregnancy-complications and maternal-fetal medicine.
